Piaye is a vibrant community nestled on the southern coast of Saint Lucia, situated close to Balembouche and Bongaloin within the Choiseul constituency.

Originally, Piaye emerged as a modest settlement for workers on the Balembouche estate. Following the estate's decline, the area evolved into a hub for fishermen, subsistence farmers, and artisans producing hand-crushed aggregate for the construction sector.
